What Results Can I Expect?
Although initial results may be obscured by bruising and swelling, the slimmer contours of your arms will be immediately noticeable. Over time, as your body heals and swelling decreases, your skin will appear more firm. You will have a scar where the incision was made, but most patients find it to be well worth their more toned and defined upper arms.
Optimal Outcome
In some cases, optimal results may not be possible with a single procedure, and a follow-up surgery may be necessary. Even with an optimal outcome, you can expect to lose some firmness due to the natural aging process.
Long-Lasting Results
Following your post-operative recovery instructions, staying fit, and maintaining a stable weight will help ensure your improvements will be long-lasting. Most patients are able to return to work or school and resume some activities within two weeks. Normal activities can resume within six weeks.
Choose an Experienced Surgeon
Choosing a board-certified plastic surgeon, like Dr. Lawton, is important to minimize post-surgery complications and downtime. Your comfort with your surgeon and confidence in his or her experience is also an important consideration when deciding to move forward.
During your consultation, Dr. Lawton will discuss your options and take the time to explain all aspects of your arm lift procedure. Once you’re ready to proceed, she will recommend a course of treatment that incorporates your aesthetic goals. If your procedure is not covered by your insurance, you can take advantage of the various financing options we offer through our partnership with Care Credit.
Awesome! Dr. Lawton was very straightforward and has a great bedside manner. Erin was beyond helpful especially in the size selection process for my implants !
