Dr. Lawton did my mommy makeover 1 year ago after I lost over 60 pounds. My breasts needed a lift and implants and free nipple graft. I needed a tummy tuck as well. I was worried because of my dark skin and propensity for scarring but her attention to detail in measurements, closure and in everything prevented that. She was an excellent choice. She saw me through it all. I have had minimal scarring and I look amazing. And I say that as a fellow MD. I did have some areolar pigment loss as a result of the free nipple graft, what we consider one of the common sequelae, but overall I am so pleased with my results and her care and that of her office staff, that I have recommended her repeatedly although she is further out than most of my friends live! A friend went to her and had a medical complication after her surgery and told me Dr. Lawton was amazing throughout her issue as well and she is overwhelmingly pleased with her care too. She is a wonderful surgeon and she is a woman who understands what we are going through and she wants to make us beautiful again but not into unrealistic Barbie dolls.
