According to statistics from the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), it is one of the most popular surgical aesthetic procedures performed today. The FDA requires that women be at least 18 years old to receive breast augmentation with saline implants and 22 years old for augmentation with silicone implants.
