The role of motherhood is a constant balancing act. Not only do you have to consider how this new life will integrate with yours, but you have to settle on a schedule that works for both of you. Timing can be everything, especially when it comes to things like going back to work, taking a nap or even scheduling a little “me time” to help you achieve some post-baby goals.
With a new baby in tow, chances are our bodies aren’t the first things we think about when we wake up in the morning. Especially if nine months of pregnancy and a C-section or childbirth has wreaked havoc on our systems!
Once a routine is established and a sense of normality is restored to your household, it’s understandable to begin focusing on you and the sense of normal you want to restore within your own life. This typically starts with the post-pregnancy body.
