How Does Renuvion® Work? 

Renuvion® uses a small cannula that can be inserted through the small incisions already made for liposuction. The cannula delivers RF energy which converts helium gas to a cold plasma. This combination keeps the process at a lower temperature for your comfort and safety. Using Renuvion® after liposuction allows improved sculpting and contouring for better overall results. What Results Will I See With Renuvion®?

When used under the skin after liposuction, Renuvion® causes the collagen fibers in the overlying skin to contract, giving the skin more firmness and smoothing unevenness. You will notice the difference immediately. The energy also triggers skin cells to produce new collagen that builds new, more resilient collagen fibers over the next few months. Most people will see their complete results in about six months. 

A surgeon can correct loose skin after liposuction by making an incision and removing the excess. If you have significant amounts of sagging skin, surgical removal might make the best option for you, but you will have a noticeable scar. For mild to moderate sagging, Renuvion® in combination with fat removal via liposuction can provide the desired tone and contouring.
