What is Juvederm®?

Juvederm® contains hyaluronic acid, a molecule that keeps the facial contours youthfully full. Over time, hyaluronic acid declines, along with collagen and other skin-supporting proteins. The face may start to look hollow and lose fullness, as well as developing lines and wrinkles. 

Juvederm® helps treat all of these concerns. Each formula has a different framework of hyaluronic acid molecules for a variety of textures and uses. 

How Long Does Juvederm® Last?

For some thinner fillers, results last from six to nine months. For thicker, more resilient fillers, results can last one to two years. Your provider will give you information about how long you can expect your particular filler to last. 

Types of Juvederm® Dermal Fillers

Juvederm® Volbella

This thin gel gives a naturally full look to the lips and fills out lines around the mouth. Its thin texture makes it perfect for this active area of the face. 

Juvederm® Vollure

This thick filler works on nasolabial folds, the lines between the nose and mouth. These deep creases need firmer support, making this filler ideal for this area. 

Juvederm® Voluma XC

This filler has a thicker texture, making it suitable for adding volume and lift to the cheek area. This area needs more support than some other fillers offer. 

Juvederm® Ultra XC

This thin, flexible, natural-looking filler is usually used in the lips, where it adds fullness while letting the lips maintain their natural flexibility. 

Juvederm® Ultra Plus XC

This filler works well in the mid-face region. In this area, people often lose fat due to aging, but this filler can restore that volume to the cheeks, temples, and other areas.
