Liposuction recovery lasts about two weeks. You may have a compression garment to wear for a few days to support your recovery. Most people can resume moderate activity after this time but should wait for Dr. Lawton’s approval before resuming intensive activities.

You may be a good candidate if you have reasonable expectations, have no serious health problems, and do not smoke. The ideal candidate is within 20-30 pounds of their ideal body weight and can maintain stable body weight to keep their results consistent.
