Thermage
Thermage Radiofrequency Skin Tightening technology is the newest technology to reverse the signs of aging. It has been clinically proven to tighten and gently lift skin to smooth out wrinkles and renew facial contours. This treatment heats the deep surface of the skin causing it to contract and tighten. The radiofrequency lifts the face, brow and cheeks without surgery and without downtime. The procedure is safe and requires about an hour. Patients can return to work or regular activity immediately following a treatment.
The Procedure
The treatment can be used on the face, neck, area surrounding the eyes as well as on the body. The treatment can take anywhere from one to two hours depending on the areas to be treated. The most frequently treated areas are the face and neck.
There is a cooling tip to assist with comfort and cooling of the skin during the treatment. Multiple passes will be performed over the region to be treated to achieve the desired result. Some results will be noticed immediately following the procedure, however, results will continue to improve for up to six months.
